Casa Maria Luigia, our guesthouse located in San Damaso, Modena, is looking for a young and dynamic individual to join our team as a porter, providing operational and logistical support within the hospitality structure, contributing to guest comfort and the upkeep of common areas.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Transporting luggage to and from guest rooms during check-in and check-out

Assisting guests with practical and logistical information

Supporting the cleaning and maintenance of common areas (lobby, hallways, elevators, outdoor spaces)

Delivering items to rooms upon request (e.g., cribs, pillows, linens)

Working with housekeeping staff to collect and deliver laundry

Managing waste and assisting with recycling processes

Checking and organizing storage rooms and supply areas

Providing support for internal moves or event/meeting setups

Discreetly monitoring access and ensuring the security of common areas
Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role (preferred, but not essential)

Good physical condition and ability to handle physical tasks

Flexible schedule and availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

Good interpersonal skills, courtesy, and discretion

Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative spirit

Basic knowledge of Italian (required); knowledge of English (preferred)
