Al Gatto Verde restaurant is seeking a young and dynamic professional to join the front-of-house team as an Assistant Sommelier.
Support the Sommelier in the management of the wine cellar and wine service;
Handle the preparation and service of beverages during service, in accordance with the restaurant’s quality standards;
Collaborate in front-of-house operations, contributing to a smooth and well-coordinated service;
Assist with procurement, storage, and stock management of wines and beverages;
Ensure the correct use and maintenance of wine service equipment;
Interact with guests to support them in their wine selection, in line with the Sommelier’s guidelines;
Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to guarantee a consistent and high-level service experience.
Good knowledge of the world of wine and basic service techniques;
Strong interest in developing professional skills in the wine sector;
Willingness to perform front-of-house duties;
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and as part of a team;
Professional attitude and strong customer-oriented mindset;
Good communication skills;
Good command of the English language.
