Gucci Osteria by Massimo Bottura – Tokyo – Sommelier (maitre)

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Sommelier to join the team at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Tokyo.

The Sommelier will be responsible for overseeing all table service operations, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional dining experience aligned with the restaurant’s standards of excellence and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front-of-house table service operations, including order taking, opening and closing procedures, guest service, seating arrangements, and table resetting.

  • Curate, recommend, and serve wines that best complement the restaurant’s cuisine, enhancing the overall dining experience.

  • Provide knowledgeable and engaging wine service, guiding guests through the wine list with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Deliver attentive and personalized hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit.

  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to maintain seamless service and uphold the restaurant’s high standards.
