Torno Subito Dubai is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team! He/She is responsible for planning and managing food preparation on one of the partie in the restaurant kitchen.
Key Accountabilities
- The Chef de Partie is in charge of managing his/her line section;
- He/She works along with the team with the DCDP and Commis, contributing to their training;
- He/She organizes the mise en place and service delivery;
- He/She takes care of the cleaning of his workstation and contributes to those of the kitchen, taking care of ordering, cleaning standard and food labeling;
- Develops and shares ideas to increase efficiency and optimization of cooking processes with attention to speed and quality.
Job Requirements
- At least 4 years of valuable experience in the food industry as a commis de partie or chef de partie
- Diploma in culinary arts and sciences / any equivalent diploma
- Strong Italian cuisine background required
- At least one year experience as Chef de Partie in Fine dining restaurant (high volume restaurants experience will be considered a plus)
- A basic knowledge of English language is considered mandatory
- Able and ready to work in an international environment
- Able to work in a team, develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Study and follow all company’s safety and security regulations and procedures
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
